Ordering is as easy as
- filling in the order form provided on the web-site or
- sending an e-mail.
All of the items listed on our web-pages were produced by the original manufacturers. Most of the items were produced in the UK except for the items in the Other China section. They all feature their original hallmarks and all the items produced in the UK carry the “Made in England” stamp. There are, therefore, no reproductions in any of the patterns offered by Parcels of Time.
All the items offered were inspected before being added to the website. Unless otherwise indicated, that means that the items are free of any:
- crackling (i.e.: very fine surface cracks of the glazing),
- fading of pattern,
- wear to gold/platinum trim or
- excessive scratching of the glazing.
If there is any damage of any kind, it will be described in the item listing or before the order is confirmed. The price are adjusted to reflect the actual condition.
Some of the dinner plates might have very limited surface scratching on the glaze but these are not visible unless inspected closely in reflected light. These slight scratches to the glaze would be typical of very light usage and do not affect the excellent condition of the plates.
Before shipping all the items are re-inspected in order to ensure that they are in excellent condition and will be to your satisfaction. We can therefore guarantee that all items received by our purchasers will arrive as described on the website listing or in the e-mails. In the unlikely event of a discrepancy in the condition of an item, the purchaser has 10 days to make their concerns known by e-mail. The purchaser may be asked to provide photos to illustrate the issue.
Please note that all the prices are for individual items.
If you encounter the same items at other web-sites selling collectible or replacement china, we will endeavour to match those prices.
For those who would like to set items aside to be shipped to them at a later date, we do have a layaway plan. The terms can vary based on the situation of the purchaser but we usually ask for a 35% deposit at the time of the layaway and the items are shipped when full payment has been made. Contacting us by e-mail or by phone would be the best way to jointly agree on the terms of the layaway plan.
All the prices on the website are in Canadian funds. When comparing with prices with replacement china suppliers in the US this works to the buyer's advantage because the Canadian $ is usually 5-12% below the US $ in value. That means 5-12% more purchasing power.
The estimated purchase cost in the buyer's currency can be easily calculated using the currency converter feature included on this page. The actual purchase cost may differ slightly from the estimated cost provided by the currency converter because of the variability of exchange rates between financial institutions.
