We successfully ship china all over the world.
The amount charged for shipping will be as close to the actual cost as is possible. To Canadian and US continental locations, this usually works out to $17 for the first place-setting item (for ex.: cup and saucer set, soup bowl, bread and butter plate, salad plate, dinner plate) and $2 for each additional place-setting item. The cost of shipping serving items (for ex.: coffee pot, platter, covered vegetable, open vegetable, etc.) will most likely be $20-25 for the first item and $8-10 for each additional serving item.
For locations outside continental North America, the cost of shipping will need to be calculated based on the items desired and an address.
If you would like an estimate of the shipping cost before ordering please make your request by e-mail and it will be our pleasure to calculate it.
We have more than 15 years experience safely shipping china safely to all continents. All items are packed to ensure that the items will arrive in the condition described.
In order to reduce the environmental impact of shipping, we use recycled packing material when it is available.
Mode of Shipment
All parcels are sent through Canada Post unless the client prefers another shipper. For parcels shipped outside Canada the parcels therefore arrive through the services of the national postal system. Our experience with Canada Post has been excellent over the years … they have never lost one of the thousands of parcels that we entrusted with them.
We take great care in packing the items so that they arrive to destination safely.
In the unlikely event that a parcel is damaged in shipping (it does happens 1-2 times per year), the purchaser has 10 days after receiving the parcel to signal by e-mail the damage. We take full responsibility for any damage that occurs during shipping. The purchaser may be asked to provide photos to show the damage. A reimbursement or replacement of the item(s) will then be offered depending on availability of the item(s) or the cost of shipping.
