A very attractive cup and saucer set with abundant gold floral tracery over a light green (this shade is too light to come through in the photo). There is a multi-coloured floral garland near the rim on the inside of the cup. The same floral motif is repeated in the centre panel of the saucer. The rims, the handle and the foot of the cup are trimmed in gold. There is a double royal emblem mark in brown on the underside. This would indicate this cup and saucer set was produced between 1939 and 1949. There are also some hand-written marks, "A198/8" and "1" in orange as well as a"p" in black and an "x" in green.
